Adelaide All Star Juniors has been carefully designed to be an exciting and interactive program in which parents and their young children and babies can have fun, learn and socialise in the comfort of a welcoming, safe and professional environment.
Ages & Stages: 5months → 5years.
Class activities split by level of independence and competence walking.
For babies, these classes are specifically designed to improve balance and muscle tone through creeping and crawling while also developing visual skills such as depth perception and hand-eye coordination. During class, our younger juniors will participate in a variety of activities that will be tailored to their individual interests with colourful toys, guided exploration and free play.
As these young athletes gain independence and the ability to competently walk, these classes are intended to be great stepping stones in to a world of fun and fitness. We aim to give older children the opportunity to explore their independence and work with others in a relaxed learning environment. Focusing on fine and gross motor skills, children will learn to move, jump and balance by participating in games and activities whilst also encouraging their social and cognitive development. Through this structured session and time for guided free play with a variety of equipment, children can begin to learn their own capabilities and potential.
For the younger juniors, these classes are designed to be highly interactive for parents. There are then opportunities for children to begin to be independent with and participate on their own or with coaches in some activities–either as they get older or when they are ready and comfortable.

Tumble tots is the perfect way to introduce young Adelaide All Stars to the all important ‘shapes’ vital for tumbling and cheerleading. This class will help young All Stars develop their body awareness, build strength and fitness and also allow them to begin working independently with just their coaches. A perfect foundation to help them prepare for our competitive cheerleading and tumble program.
This program is designed for athletes only in this class. Parents are welcome to watch from the parents lounge or ‘kiss and drop’ once their junior tumbler is settled and used to working with their tumble coaches.

Once athletes are ready and have been enjoying out tumble tots program, they can then start their career as a tiny cheerleader! Our Space Cadets competitive team train once a week to learn the basic skills of cheerleading. They then work together to learn a routine and compete at three competitions throughout the year – just like the big kids! Intake for Space Cadets begins in Late January through to April 2019. Intake is limited as we learn what’s involved being a part of a team with regular trainings progressing the athletes together to prepare for competitions.
